Cricket - You're Too Cool

Cricket was founded by lead vocalist and front man Graham Cennon and guitar player and vocalist Justin Brooks, in summer of 2009. Brooks and Cennon, being friends for years, had played in numerous local Regina bands. The decision made for this band was to keep the music simple, but to the point. Hard hitting harmonies with catchy guitar riffs."Music that makes you feel without over complicating things". After recruiting drummer "Justin Burrows" and bass player "Dave Calvert", the band recorded and released their debut EP "Take Cover "in June of 2009.

Quickly gaining common ground and fan support, Cricket then opened for Fat Wreck artists "The Mad Caddies" in November of 2009. Since then, they have recorded and released their full length album "220 beats per minute" on their label "3 Legged Dog Studios" In April of 2011.

They have completed multiple tours throughout western and eastern Canada and have shared the stage with bands such as Mad Caddies, Authority Zero, Pennywise, The Misfits, Strung Out, Riverboat Gamblers, Death By Stereo,Booze Cruise, Loaded Dice, Soiled Doves, and many others.
